Copy PST for Outlook

Blogged in email, internet by Administrator Thursday August 2, 2007 at about 6:55 pm

CopyPST is a program which repairs Outlook data files by exporting it to a new file, ignoring any error. It requires that the data file can still be opened in Outlook. Exporting a file also makes it much faster however you need to repair links, afterwards using OLfix.

You will use first SCANPST to repair a damaged file, if this does not help, you can use the export function in Outlook. However MS products like to abort any copy operation after the first error. CopyPST ignores all errors and therefore is able to copy the whole file.

Outlook on the Desktop 1.3.2

Blogged in email, internet by Administrator Thursday February 22, 2007 at about 7:45 am

Have you ever wondered why it’s such a pain in the butt to use calendaring programs on your computer? It’s simple: they don’t mimic their real life counterparts very well. People who use calendars to organize their daily lives have them visible in plain sight nearly all of the time. Yet, on the computer, you have to go through a myriad of windows and clicks before you can even see your calendar. So to bridge the gap, I’ve come up with this little program that will place the Microsoft Outlook Calendaring system right on your desktop. The calendar object gets pinned to your desktop and stays there all the time in plain sight so you can always see what’s upcoming. Of course, the benefits don’t stop there … because it’s the actual Microsoft Outlook calendar, you get all it’s functionality, such as direct editing, drag and drop of files, etc. You have to see it to believe it.

Outlook on the Desktop places fully functional Microsoft Outlook Calendar on your Desktop. The Outlook Calendar is pinned to your desktop so that no windows can get stuck behind it.

Well, retype no more. A complete conversion is just a few clicks away. Power users will like the ability to see edit and delete parts of the data before saving it as well as support for common file formats.

PopTray 3.2

Blogged in email, internet by Administrator Saturday September 16, 2006 at about 7:55 pm

PopTray started as a little POP3 mail checker I wrote, because I couldn’t find a freeware program that had all the features I wanted. Since then, new features have been added by request. After years of refinement PopTray 3.0 has now become a full-featured, customizable, e-mail notifier, but keeping it’s ease of use.

Main Features:

  • Unlimited number of Accounts
  • Show number of messages directly on the TrayIcon (rotating by account)
  • Quickly preview a message
  • Delete messages from the server without downloading them

X-Ray Mail Assistant

Blogged in email, internet by Administrator Thursday September 7, 2006 at about 8:15 pm

X-Ray Mail Assistant is an email header filter and POP/SMTP server switching tool. It runs as a local POP/SMTP relay server and scans your incoming and/or outgoing mail for user specified mail headers. Once it finds a match it can change the header, remove it, replace it or perform some other special modifications. In addition, the program allows you to set up multiple profiles for POP and SMTP servers and switch between them from the system tray.

Major objectives of X-Ray are:

  • To provide privacy by removing unwanted mail headers;
  • To make it convenient to switch between several different incoming and outgoing mail servers without reconfiguring your mail software;
  • To operate stably and unobtrusively.
