This is a port to Windows of Flurry, a beautiful screen saver for Mac OS X written by Calum Robinson. To use it right-click the Flurry screensaver file (Flurry.scr) and choose Install. Or just copy it to your Windows directory. Use the Screen Saver tab of the Desktop control panel to select and configure Flurry.
This looks cool. That was my first reaction when I saw the generated images at the electricsheep.org website. Electricsheep is a free screensaver that runs on pc and mac and is used by lots of people around the world.
When the screensaver is installed on your system all computers currently displaying the screensaver combine their power to create morphing abstract animations known as “sheep”.
Anyone watching one of these computers may vote for their favorite animations using the keyboard. The more popular sheep live longer and reproduce according to a genetic algorithm with mutation and cross-over. Hence the flock evolves to please its global audience.
